Director’s tips

• I expect someone to be articulate and polite.
• I think they should be prepared as much as possible.
• If you don’t know what the part is look up the director and find out what he’s done before.
• Work to your strengths.
• As far as presentation is concerned, I have no interest in what clothes someone has on but they should be alive and engaging.
• Get as much info about the apart as possible and work on it. If it has lines, learn them, if it is a character breakdown, imagine what it is like to be that character.
• Never take anything personal from an audition.
• A director is looking for so many different things and usually if you don’t get the part it’s to do with so many other things rather than talent.
• A director will want to work with some one who is enthusiastic and full of ideas and someone who will work hard and takes themselves and the job seriously.

4. Shocking or disgusting content "Shocking or disgusting content" refers to disturbing imagery, such as graphic depictions of violence, accidents or gore.
5. Promotes hatred or violence against a protected group Hate speech is content that promotes or encourages hatred or violence toward a group based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, and sexual orientation/gender identity.
6. A harmful dangerous act "Harmful dangerous acts" may include content which is depicts behaviour likely to cause serious injury or death to a third party.

1. Make sure that your complaint really relates to a violation of your privacy. If you've found material offensive and it violates the Terms of Use. Please do not use this privacy complaint form for videos that do not violate your privacy, because this may keep us from understanding and properly addressing your concerns.
2. Please be aware that when you're in public spaces these days, it's highly likely that you will be caught on camera — whether it be by security cameras, tourists, etc. If you appear only incidentally in a video in a public space, it may be more difficult for us to assess your privacy concerns.
3. If you become aware of a video on CASTMEUK that you feel violates your privacy, as a first step, contact us by e-mail with your concerns. Sometimes they aren't even aware that someone feels uncomfortable with the posting of the video. If we find the content in question violates our policies, we will remove it promptly.
4. Make sure that if you are filling out the privacy complaint that you are the individual shown in the video. We will not accept forms filled out for your co-workers, friends, or relatives. Please note we will not take action unless you are clearly identifiable in the video. If anyone is seen to be abusing CASTMEUK website your account and video footage will be removed.
